There are some photo sessions that are dear to my heart and this is definitely one of them! I met Amie at the 2015 Vancouver Baby and Family Fair where she won one of Connexion Photography's gift certificates for a complementary session.
A few months after the show, she contacted me to book a photo session for her baby boy. During the design consultation, she mentioned that she had in mind a "nautical theme" for the session which got me really excited and this is was something I always wanted to do. I immediately started to do some research and sent her a styling/mood board (inspired by Jacadi 2014 Summer Collection) which served us as a guide for clothing, accessories and decor. Amie got each and every item that I suggested and even brought a few extra ones (thanks Amie ;). I myself also made sure to get the best props and nail the lighting set up that would help bring our vision to life. I am glad this session turned out so well and I hope you will enjoy it.
